If your tank takes 10L of fuel, then you're getting marvellous economy. if your tank is 100L then it sucks.
Even if you said the same thing about petrol, I don't know what the tank size is on a TE compared to my TJ or how full or not full you had it.

Really, if anyone wants to measure fuel economy, the only way to do it is to fill the tank, record kms or reset trip meter, do your driving, then fill the tank and compare how many litres (L) it took to fill and home many km you drove. Divide the Ls by Kms, times 100 and you will get mileage in L / 100km.

FYI "filling" the tank can have a variance - the fuel will bubble up and shut off the pump quick one day, but overflow the next time. So repeat the process for 2 or 3 tanks and you'll have an average that is quite accurate.

Besides which, I have no chance of getting close to 600kms from a tank in my Magna, so I'm envious.
oops forgot to mention my lpg tank is 65 litres useable.
(80 litres water capacity, can only fill to 80% on a lpg tank for safety reasons. has a valve in it to prevent overflowing too so it cant take more than it should)
and when i fill. i reset trip meter as i dont have a trip comp or clock in mine, and go to dead empty. and it takes 65 litres to refill.

this tank is looking to be the same kilometers too. to twice in a row isnt bad.

true to a point. i am yet to actually fill my petrol tank but going by what the guage claims i get around 120k's to a 1\4 tank. but i havent filled it and refilled afterwards. to confirm or deny how accurate it is yet

in all honesty. coming from a ford falcon which was just 50kg's heavier the te tromps it in fuel economy
keep in mind i only have a high k 3 litre v6, so its gotta work harder than the falcon ever did at 110k's

The best I get out of 50ltrs of lpg is 400kms of highway driving and maybe 300kms around town so even though it's a smaller engine you are doing ok.
